Add or reduce provider capacity

Booked is the contracted quantity. Occupied is the number of connections or slots counted against it. Available is the capacity remaining for new setup.

Homematic IP is counted per access point; Nuki per lock. Booking does not start connection setup. See Nuki's current availability.

Add a slot

  1. Open Settings → Plan & Access Points.
  2. Select the provider product and its add-slot action.
  3. Wait for the updated preview. Check product, quantity, prorated cost and shared contract end.
  4. Confirm the booking. The slot is available immediately after successful booking.
  5. Start connection setup separately, where supported.

The whole booking day is charged. Capacity ends with the existing contract; it does not start a separate twelve-month term. Connecting later does not change the booking date.

Rules for reducing capacity

Current interface limitation: The backend supports reduction, but the current plan panel does not connect an action for it. These are the commercial rules, not instructions for an available button. A complete UI guide will follow when the action is connected and verified.

The confirmation day remains fully billable; the lower quantity takes effect on the next Berlin calendar day.

Reducing capacity does not disconnect a provider connection. The backend can accept a reduction even if occupancy will exceed the booked quantity. New setup is blocked without available capacity. Review which technical connections you still need before reducing capacity.

Conversely, disconnecting a connection does not cancel its commercial booking. Treat technical and commercial changes separately.

Example: Add on 16 September

At a fictional €5 per month, September contributes 15 of 30 days: €5 × 15 / 30 = €2.50. Add the remaining months through the existing contract end.

Example: Reduce on 15 January

A fictional €5 slot is charged from 1 through 15 January: €5 × 15 / 31 = €2.42. The lower quantity applies from 16 January.

Each monthly position is rounded independently to cents using commercial rounding before summing. Do not assume all months have 30 days.
